First Steps

Well Zoe finally took her first steps last night. Dada got home from Detroit just in time to see all the fun. She did it like 4 times taking 2 to 4 steps each time. Before we know it she will be running.

Bengals fans

So, I saw an ingenious support for the Benglas this morning. It was a little black KIA car, which had a WHO DEY license plate, a sticker and then out of the hatch back an orange and black striped tail. How funny considering it isn't even football season!

Boat Ride

Zoë went on her first boat ride for this year. She didn't like it at first, but then started screaming and laughing at the water behind the boat. She fell asleep about half way into the ride, which was so precious...but not so much when that nap energized her and she wouldn't go to bed later.

We have the boat docked on the Ohio River this year at a marina. It is so nice to be able to just drive 20 minutes and hop in the boat. I think we are going to have a very fun summer this year.

Sick Kid

Poor Zoe, she has been snotty and feeling crummy. Today she threw up for the first time at daycare. There is a gastro intestinal virus going around and of course she got it. YUCK. I am leaving soon to go pick her up. =(

Too smart for her own good

Well, Zoë shut her bedroom door last night. She then immediately got up and tried the door knob for about a minute. When she realize she couldn't get it she then started banging on the door for me to open it. It was hilarious. I couldn't believe that she knew how to open a door.

This morning she said vroom vroom when we were heading towards the car.

More words

We are starting to say lots of words now. In addition to mama, dada, and uh-oh, we are also saying that, hi, ball, milk (kinda) and signing more, milk, and waving hi and bye all the time. Everyday there is something exciting. She is starting to mimic sounds. Like dogs barking too. It's hilarious.
