Day Care for Zoë

I just read an email that Zoë got in at the Children's for Children day care at my work! It is going to be so much easier for me that I can drop off and pickup. I am so excited I just can't wait. I don't know when she can start so she will probably go to Goddard day care for a few weeks and then switch over. YEAH!

Update: Zoë starts at Children's for Children on June 19. YIPEEE.

Vanilla Ice Brow

Do ya remember the Vanilla Ice eye brow? Well, I accidently got a similar one this morning. I use one of those small micro-touch trimmers to groom my eyebrows and the attachment slipped and I now have half a brow over one eye. We will have to see how many people notice today. I think it's pretty funny. It will grow back.

Busy at work

I can't believe it is already Thursday. I have been back to work for 4 days and the time has flown by. Things are pretty great, but I think once Grammy is back home and she goes to day care on May 3o, I will be hurting in a bad way. We will see.

whoops Grammy

Grammy was feeding Zoë yesterday morning and she would suck and then giggle and wasn't eating. This went on for 1/2 an hour before she realized....there was no milk coming out of the nipple. I had bought new bottles. I washed them and sterilized them, but sometimes you have to manipulate the nipple to get anything to come out and I forgot to check this batch. She thought Grammy was just playing a game with her. No crying or fussing....amazing.

Back to work

I go back to work on Monday. I was totally fine until I went to day care orientation on Thursday. It is a very nice place, but she just won't get the mommy attention that she is use to and it breaks my heart. My mom will be here the first 2 weeks since day care doesn't have an opening until June 1. It would not have been a problem, but Zoë came 4 weeks early, which means I am going back to work sooner than anticipated. All will be fine and a better transition with mom being here at first.

I will keep you all posted how I did on my first day back.

Picture Day

These are scans from picture day. Unfortunately, when I scan them in these lines come through, but you can get the idea. I think the top one is so funny, the pink dress precious with a baby smile, but the bottom one best represents here at 3 months!

Desperate Landscapes

I nominated our neighbors across the street for a new show called Desperate Landscapes. The casting person emailed me and the might win. They not only will redo the landscape, but also the front porch, front door, sidewalk, shutters and more. I hope they win. See the below picture I submitted and maybe we will see an after picture if they win.

Zoë is smirking is this pic, but she smiles all the time now. She played for over an hour today in her bouncy seat that Eric and Sue let us use. She just bats away at the toys.
This outfit was given to us by our friends Chris and Stef. It is still a little big on her, but so cute. She is so good when I am out and about. Never cries or says a word. She likes outtings thus far, but I always try to time them between feedings.
