Mom's fine!

Mom is fine. They said she had all the symptoms of a stroke, but the tests all said she is fine. Thank goodness. She is at home and already on the go again.

Mom's hospital trip

My mom was taken to the hospital last night. We don't know if she had a minor stroke or what is wrong. She was a little loopy and didn't really know what was going on. She started by saying where had my dad been all day when he was at home and then didn't know who he was. I talked to her this morning and she said her blood pressure had sky rocketed and they may have caused it or what. She is still in the hospital, but lucid today and will hopefully be going home soon. I will keep you all posted.

Keep my mom in your prayers.

Cincinnati Zoo

This is Zoe and my friend Shannon's daughter Sam. We went to the Zoo for free on their buddy pass. We got to ride the train and after about the third animal she stopped crying when we moved on. She didn't get that we were going to see another animal just down the way. We also got to meet Cassie from Dragontales. We don't watch that show...but it was still fun. Zoe didn't know what to think of that pink dinasour. She just wanted to wave at her, which was fine. We have a ton of fun and we will be back soon.

First Steps

Well Zoe finally took her first steps last night. Dada got home from Detroit just in time to see all the fun. She did it like 4 times taking 2 to 4 steps each time. Before we know it she will be running.

Bengals fans

So, I saw an ingenious support for the Benglas this morning. It was a little black KIA car, which had a WHO DEY license plate, a sticker and then out of the hatch back an orange and black striped tail. How funny considering it isn't even football season!

Boat Ride

Zoë went on her first boat ride for this year. She didn't like it at first, but then started screaming and laughing at the water behind the boat. She fell asleep about half way into the ride, which was so precious...but not so much when that nap energized her and she wouldn't go to bed later.

We have the boat docked on the Ohio River this year at a marina. It is so nice to be able to just drive 20 minutes and hop in the boat. I think we are going to have a very fun summer this year.
