Furniture Crusing

Yes, Zoe is now furniture cruising. She walks around the coffee table and jumps from chair to end table to coffee table. Before you know it she will be walking!

Now that we are 1

Now that we are 1 we are drinking whole milk, washing our hands in the sink and front facing in our car seat. Zoe is pulling up on everything and constantly babbles. She can't sit still in the tub and bath time is a real chore.

It's all about the teeth

Well, today was a pretty dramatic day for teeth in the Smith family. I found out I got my first cavitity today. I almost made it to 33 without a cavity. I was so sad. Then I went to pickup Zoe and discovered her first tooth has broken through! You can't really see too much of it yet, but maybe by her birthday this weekend we will get some good pics to post

God's Insulation

It snowed 5 inches here yesterday. The snow on our roof provides a thin layer of insulation and keeps it nice and cosy inside our big old house. The traffic here sucks when it snows and most roads become grid locked. I left early from work, but had a mean lady rear ended me on the way home. It was Zoe's first car wreck. It was just a light tap and Zoe and I are fine.

Another ear infection

Yes, our Zoe has ear infections in both ears. Tubes are scheduled, but we just can't get them in fast enough. We were at first a little nervous, but can't wait so we can get her well and off antibiotics. Poor Zoe.
