Visiting Family

We had a great time visiting my mom and dad this weekend. Zoe was so worn out that she didn't want to wake up this morning. I went to get her out of bed and she said, "no, no, no, more sleep." It is too bad that it is still so cold outside, but I am sure it will warm up soon. Can you beliveve there is going to be more rain this week. Wowsers.

Skin Tags

So, I feel so horrible, but I am glad to report that Zoe does not have hemorrhoids. A few weeks ago I notice a small "bump" on her anus. Then another one formed. There weren't getting any bigger and weren't really red so I didn't know what it was. I took her to the doctor today and I found out they are skin tags from lesions from he pushing #2 out. These lesions were causing skin tags.

Good news is that she is just going to continue with her current laxative, but up the dose and I just need to put on neosporin on for awhile. Hopefully they will resolve after time.

I feel so bad that her poop was causing such a bad time. These are the days I wish she could tell me what was going on with her.

Ooooohhhhh

Zoe's new thing lately is saying ooohhh. Like when she figures something out and realizes what it means she says, "oooohhhhh." So cute, hard to describe through writing it, but you have to take my word for it. It is adorable.

Smith Update (St. Patrick's Day/Easter '08)

Things are pretty normal around here. We are all getting adjusted to new school, work and longer communte. Zoe's all dressed in green today. She is wearing a shirt that says "Kiss me I'm American." Of course a Wal-mart cheapy, but still fun for her. They are having an Easter Egg hunt on Wednesday at school. We will not be at home this weekend, but instead headed towards Mom and Dad's the weekend following Easter. I accidently planned a few things this weekend not realizing it was Easter. It's so early this year. Yikes.

Mom and Dad are back from Florida and came home to a stinky house. Their frig had quick working....and who knows how long ago that happen. YUCK! They very quickly bought a new one and had the old one taken away.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all!

This was Zoe and my first week at the new school and work. Things are going well. We just need to somehow get home today with all this snow we are getting here. Crazy March 7th snow!
